On The Road To Nowhere...

Aha.
Ok, so I was going to blog last night but really couldn't be bothered...so I went to bed and read my book instead. =] Due to this, I am blogging now instead. *nods*

Yesterday was really nice. Me and my mum, along with her friend and daughter, went to visit some family friends who used to live near us. It was really amusing 'cos we managed to miss the turning on the way there and went way too far, having to turn and go a "scenic route" to the house. LOL. Anyway, once there we had a laugh, hung out, went to buy sweets at the sweet shop etc. Then we went out for a meal. OHMY. The service was sooooo slow. No joke, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. Grr. To be fair to the chef, though, it was gorgeous. =] I had thios pasta with veggies in a spicy tomato sauce. Mmmmmm. And, yeah, then we went back to the house and hung there for a bit more. The journey home was yet another adventure. We kept going the wrong way and along all these windy country roads in the dark. LOL. We even ended up on a road that was closed due to flooding....but we survived, there'd been no rain. =] It was crazy, though, 'cos the things that show you how much it floods went up to 6ft. 6ft!?!?! I was like..woah. But, we finally made it home, safe and sound. Aha. =]
